Specialized examinations such as laryngeal stroboscopy, nasofibrolaryngoscopy, and nasosinuscopia are performed to complement the diagnosis in otolaryngology.

Exam Instructions

Before the exam:
  • 2-hour fasting period.
  • Arrive 20 minutes early.
  • Bring a valid service order.
  • If sedation is required, arrive 1 hour earlier with a companion.
After the exam:
  • Wait in the recovery room until results are provided.
  • Schedule a follow-up appointment with your treating physician.
  • If sedation was administered:
    • Do not eat for 2 hours.
    • Do not drive or operate machinery.
    • Stay accompanied.
